Coming Spring 2019!
Love your wood pellet stove but hate hefting the heavy bags? Have we got a solution for you! Imagine a wood pellet spicket right next to your stove. Wait, what’s a spicket? A spicket is a faucet that gushes wood pellets instead of water. Just turn it on and pellets pour into your bucket. No more trips to the store, no more stacking bags!
The wood pellet spicket is the enabling technology of your new automated wood pellet storage and conveyance system. It all starts with your indoor or outdoor bulk bin. If you live in an area where there is already a bulk pellet delivery, you can choose pneumatic truck delivery for the ultimate in automation, or you can use the leaf blower hack to blow bagged pellets into the bin yourself.
The bulk bin is connected to your wood pellet spicket by means of a vacuum suction system. That means that when you’re planning your system, you should consider the best way to route the 2.5″ feed and return vacuum suction hoses.

Thanks for reading, Alex! Our spelling of spicket is a proprietary term, but we understand that it can cause some confusion.
